Met Gala 2017 had many heads turning as celebrities walked into the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This year, stars came out in all their glory to honor the legacy of Commes des Garcons and its rebellious fashion. Here are a few of the men who dared to don the color and did so in an exemplary style.
Red particularly stood out at this year’s Met Gala owing to the theme. However, the man who stood out for us was Rami Malek dressed in a bright red Dior Homme suit accessorized with a black rose lapel pin. You just can’t ignore his bold and colorful statement his red shirt, tie and shoes made at the cream carpet.
Joe Jonas is next in line for pulling off red in an exquisite custom made H&M suit The red silk suit with black stripes was paired with a black silk shirt and black shoes. It was rather delightful to see the singer take note of detail and design in choosing his attire. His dapper look made us feel like Lena Dunham lurking around this Jonas.
The other Jonas, not far behind, stood true to the theme with his attire. Nick Jonas wore a Ralph Lauren suit that added a dash of rebellion to the classic black and white combination. The singer wore geometric patterns of white on his black suit jacket and nailed his appearance at the fashion event.
The Deadpool star made his entry into the Metropolitan Museum of Art with his stunning wife, Blake Lively. Reynolds sported an elegant blue tux with a blue bow that matched the feathers at the tail of Lively’s golden gown. The couple’s coordinated look raised eyebrows and the bars for relationship goals everywhere.
Tom Brady arrived with his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen in deep velvet Tom Ford suit. The superbowl champ and his wife co-chaired the event and did so in elegantly. They got the temperatures rising on the cream carpet as they showed the world how PDA is done right
